I have apnea and have used a machine and mask for over 10 years. I went thru (2) sinus surgeries before the machine and mask. It took some getting use to but, I sleep thru the night and it made a big change in my well being.

Apnea can affect your heart (as well as your partner). Get it checked out so you know how much. After that, you can pick the solution according to size of your problem. Strip, somnoplasty or (in most acute cases), uvulopalatopharyngoplasty.
