Strange TV Screen Issue - new Sony OLED

A strange (IMO) image error showed up on my new Sony TV. It appeared about a week ago and then showed up again. When the TV is restarted after a period of time it goes away. I called Sony and they were nice and started a Case. They said to call if it happens again. I was just wondering if any here might know if this is caused by the signal or by something haywire in the TV. Picture below while watching Yellowstone 1923. Note diagonal red stripe.

Have you updated the TV's software to the latest version?

That's my only suggestion.

I did just after I got it but - good point - I can see if a new version is available.

the stripe almost looks like a weirdly tinted shadow from the picture on the wall. Makes me wonder if it's some sort of processing artifact from the processing of the picture frame.

I assume the pic that you posted is after having paused the show that you were watching?

I wonder if there's some setting, that you could change that would make it go away. Granted, I wouldn't expect a setting to cause that, so it's a problem if it does, but still, maybe one of those settings that most TVs seem to come with these days, upconverting or smoothing or whatever to enhance the picture of a show shot at lower res or a lower refresh rate.

The picture was taken without pausing. I have other pictures with the red stripe in exactly the same spot so I don't think it is a shadow from the picture on the wall. When it happens again I'll contact Sony and see if they will give me an email to send in some of these pictures. I was not able to find anything like this mentioned using Google. I'm curious to find out if Sony has seen this before.
