Transverse Malleolus Fracture Heal Time?
Well a week ago I was bumped into by a car and ended up sliding into a curb. It's a clean break, with minimal displacement. Went to see a orthopedist, and was given a godly big black boot with full range of motion joints. Which I was kinda bummed I didn't get a cast. Anyways I'm starting a ROTC program towards the end of august, and need to be able run again. Has anyone broke their ankle, and how did it feel after??
Here's a picture of the bike. Cage took most of the impact. Don't judge ![]() ![]() |

At age 25 I twisted my right ankle and a tendon pulled a chunk of bone out.
At age 40 I got off of my MX bike at speed and broke the heel off of my right ankle and also blew a chunk out of the the side of my right ankle. I've also broken both arms left one twice, 4 ribs, ( displacement) and fractured T-10 to within 3mm of being paralised Ankles SUCK due to always bearing weight on them as well as they're close to the ground and cold sets in

How old are you? 20-30 years old, count with 4 weeks to nicely attached, and 8 to solid.
Tobra will know more than me. |
