As a fellow parent, all I can say is I hope he is happy and healthy... anything else is just a bonus. In this case, probably a pretty big bonus, but a bonus still.

I asked a lady friend what all the hubbub was about and she said, "After all the bad news lately it is so refreshing to have some good news for a change." There might be something to that, but I don't think that's the whole reason for the baby crazies. She also said to expect a baby boom about nine months from now. That I believe.

There is some lichen growing on a rock in the mountains in southwest Oklahoma that I care more about than that baby.
I hope the kid has a happy long life, but I just can't even imagine caring less about any birth announcement. He is just another baby.

I dunno... I find it peripherally interesting that in my lifetime I have seen 5 generations of the Royal family, and that I will see one, and perhaps two more coronations.
