German F1
Another good race, right to the end. What did ya'll think. For me maybe a different winner might have suited me better.
The podium interviewer was a real clown!!(Bozo). (please make them stop) |

Would have been nice to see Kimi win. (ABSV)
Tires once again are taking on too much importance. I can't stand the podium interviews. They are so awkward. I must be getting old, because its becoming harder and harder for me to follow all the various sub-plots during the races.

If Vettle wins, I turn it off as soon as he crosses the finish line.

I really enjoyed the race - especially seeing Kimi catching up to Vettel and making him earn his Deutsche Marks. Tires give it drama, otherwise it might as well be a parade. Weber made an impressive showing after the pit incident - tells you a lot about the driver and the car. Wonder why Masa did the solo DNF? Feel bad for Hambone - I watched him on Top Gear and then the Red Arrows flight, he jumped up a couple of notches for me. Anyway, nice way to spend a couple of hours. I just need to see them in person...

Yes to almost all the above. A very exciting race but wish Kimi had won.

My thoughts:
1.) Vettel wins at home. Good for him. 2.) Glad Kimi made a race of it at the end. Very impressed with what Lotus has done this year. 3.) Mark Webber can't seem to catch a break. 4.) Mark Webber proceeded to drive the wheels off that car after the stewards gave him a "get out of jail free" card.

Have seen the slomo footage of that tire hitting that cameraman? He had his back to it and just gets nailed.

I feel sorry for Massa. He's trying to so hard, but to be fast he has to drive beyond his abilities and he keeps making bad mistakes. He just doesn't have it and he's going to get hurt bad if he keeps this up.
Latest was a spin-out all by himself because he over-cooked a corner and locked up the rears, then the car got stuck in 5th so his day was done. I like the guy but he really needs to retire or go race stock cars. |

Reminds me of the Michigan Cart race a few years ago when a tire dismounted at speed and left the track killing three people in the stands. The amount of energy a tire has at speed can be deadly.

Gatta love the unoccupied Marussia rolling back across the track too.

I'm bored of watching the Red Bull/Vettel show. I'm long since over it. I was really rooting for either of the Lotus' to pass Vettel. It was not to be. Yawn...
