Paging Pellie Doctors
I'm on a course of doxycylcine and it's tearing me up. I know it's important to finish the course. But can I take flagyl at the same time to offset what the doxy is doing to my gut?
TIA

OMG, Flagyl sucks! I have taken it many times with Cipro for my Crohns Disease.
Flagyl makes me sicker than anything. Drink plenty of liquids. Good Luck!

No booze with flagyl... zero... works like antabuse.
Sick as a dog. Try eating yogurt a couple times a day... the doxy is killing the flora in your gut. Replace it. Often helps. Last edited by tcar; 07-13-2013 at 12:36 PM.. |

Yes from a pharmadynamic standpoint you can, although there is never any guaranty Flagyl will help. I find its effect is pretty erratic, depending on indication of course.
