That is nice. The chysler can be stared at all day.
The Jag front end is ugly. Rear not bad. What its worth and paint makes some blind.
Its ugly!
....whoops. Except the paint.Did I say that?

Five speed from a XKE, I'm bettin' It happens a lot. Don't think the early 4 speed had syncro on first gear.

You never get over loving Jaguars. It's like a heroin addiction. You are either currently addicted, or you are in recovery... Either way, you still always WANT! :D

Having owned a '67 3.8s, in the late 60's, I heartily agree!

That is a "cool old Jag". In fact, all 3 of them are very cool old Jags.

120 mph was FAST back in the day of the XK 120. Jaguar claimed that its XK 120 would do 120 mph off the showroom floor, hence its name.

Don't think they ever put any 5 speeds in XKEs, mayber from something else, were any of the XJ series cars 5 speeds?

Very sweek XK 120, I must say

Had a '54 100 4, never did get over her. :(

The later 6's were nose heavy tractors, unworthy of the name, sniff.

Scott, what's the deal with the green "parking lines?"

Scott Douglas 07-21-2013 09:06 PM

My guess would be they're for car pools, but I really don't know for sure John.

Zeke 07-22-2013 07:54 AM

Being that is a Ford facility wouldn't you think that is hybrid parking?

Scott Douglas 07-22-2013 08:08 AM

Could be Milt, hadn't thought of that.

Agree... I know some guys from the local Jag club and if you get too "involved" with them they can lead to financial ruin.

Need to rebuild a "latieish" V12? ... That's about $22,000 locally.

Beautiful non the less but I've always managed to stay away from Jags although I've had my fair share of Alfas
