Yes, I started to get hooked on Longmire, but also lost it due to cutting our TV channels.

Same with Warehouse 13.

I'm going to scan the channel guide tonight for:

Castle
Perception
Breaking Bad
Rules of Engagement
Orange and Black

I tried Modern Family (had a bunch of recommendations from friends and family) will try it again.

Did not realize they just filmed some more Poirot! Will have to find some video of that!!!

Cut cable in 1992 when I removed 103 pounds of USELESS weight!!!! Have not looked back at either since! ;-)

If it is not on disc or over our limited antenna reception then I do not see it. And we watch about five to six hours per week or less.

Cut the cable/dish and live without commercials on the net or via DVDs from netflix, library, friends, and family. Life is better without wasting time on TV, YMMV

Ironical even though we live in the TV capitol of the world... there is big hill between San Pedro and Los Angeles (and the mountaintop where all the transmitting antennas are) so we are stuck with dish or cable (we are on dish).
We have Internet however again... due to cost cutting it is not top of the line speed.

We do have a netflicks (watching BBS Sherlock on DVD)

This was the best car show ever, in my mind. greatest cars, great settings, true sound of the cars under way. Filmed beautifully! outstanding!
I wish that Allan DeCadeny would do a series on the many classic rallies going on in Europe, and follow along connecting with the folks and cars doing the rally.
Good God yes, best stuff ever committed to film. You can buy those btw. I have several episodes. Unfortunately the Porsche episode was early on and is not nearly as intimate as the later shows.

For TV series we tried Sherlock and while it's somewhat entertaining the truth is that british acting/directing is absolutely abysmal.

Greatest COMEDY no one talks about is Trailer Park Boys. It's on Netflix.

Suits and Graceland are both on Hulu. The first two seasons of suits are also on Prime instant video free if you are an amazon prime member.

Breaking Bad - sitcom? However, if you can stomach it, it's an awesome show.

Anyone else think M.A.S.H. was hysterical back in the day and completely falls flat now. Saw it regularly in my youth - I'm 49 now and can't stand it.

For me - it's always been the best. Always will be.

But for me it wasn't about the comedy - it was about the philosophy.

That said - I realize different strokes for different folks.
