I get BMX & Vans ads..

I keep getting banner ads from the NSA.

Now I'm getting aviation schools......only other thing I did was visit the thread about the screaming girl in the plane.....

Google Adwords calls it Remarketing. Basically when you go to a website of Company A that is running the code - it logs that you've been there. Then when you go to a website that features ads (such as Google AdSense) - if any of the content matches the targeted keywords set by Company A - their ad will show up.

I run the Google Adwords and remarketing for my employer - it does quite well for us. But it can get annoying if you see those ads everywhere...

one problem with this form of advertising is many times it is too late. I searched for an purchased a mustang. For the next year, I received mustang ads on a regular basis.

Seriously, my page has a huge white open space there, I don't get the ads, and I like it that way.
Windows unit, Vista64, Firefox, a few ad blockers, pop-up blockers and AVG.
