rolled my 930 last night

i stopped on the side of the road where we had our honda for sale. got out and took a squirt (jackie gleason smoky and the B). i got back in and just started backing up. i backed into a ditch that was pretty deep and the car rolled over.
got it back over but the fenders and roof had some damage.
then i woke up. man, what a baaad dream. i still feal funkie from it like it was real.
ever have dreams that leave you with that fealing like it was real?

I had a dream that I joined the Navy and was about to deploy. At age 52 (ie today).

I've had many dreams that were very realistic. I believe that's called 'lucid dreaming'. Once, I even 'woke up' from a dream and realized that I was already in another dream and had to come up thru two levels to get back to a normal waking state. I recently dreamed that I was able to fly...now THAT was pretty cool! I always dream in color too.

For years after my discharge from the Army, I had recurring dreams about finding myself back in uniform. The jist of the dream was always the same...me trying to explain to someone that I'd 'been there & done that' and that this was all a big mistake.

In some of my dreams I'm still a class or two away from graduating college after thinking I was though with it, and then trying to hide the shame or denial.

A rough 13 years of working my way through school, community college to graduate school will really mess with your head.

I get pee dreams all the time too, typically cannot find a spot to go without a crowd being there to watch (so I don't go). Broken stall doors, bad toilets, all sorts of things preventing me from going in my dreams.

Car related stuff, black ice and spinning like a top will wake me up.

Reminds me of my first Ferrari. Thought that the best day of my life was the day I picked it up. Then, after many sleepless nights worring about "what if?", I finally sold it and that was definitely the best day of my life. ( I was a substitute teacher in those days so my inmcome was very modest and the cost of repairing that car really scared me.) I took one third, $1100 of the money ($3300) and bought a four year old Alfa Romeo which eventually dropped a crankshaft drill seal pin and blew the engine, but not until it had served me for at least 20,000 miles. DIY parts and machining cost less than $300. Oh, I spent $1000 of it to buy a one of a kind 1952 Ferrari which I rarely drove.

my dad died over 10 yrs ago. i still have dreams where he is alive but in the dream i know he is dead. he looks good.
