Can anyone read this script?
 

I know Pelicans are a diverse group here. Many speak and read multiple languages. So I'm asking if anyone can read this script.

It's my better half's ring. All we know is it's turn of the century and hand made. It's a cigar band ring.

Can anyone read this or make sense of it?

^^I was worried about this....people giving me their interpretation of what the ring says.

I was hoping to get the right answer. We've wondered for years what it says. Nobody seems to know.

It looks middle eastern, but not Hebrew......there, I narrowed it down to a few dozen languages with a few dozen dialects each.

The inner band looks to have a good deal more patina than the rest. What's the composition?

It looks like Buddhist script to me.

Sanskrit was used in Buddhist writings IIRC....
