This part I find interesting:

Race oils have a good balance of ZDDP and detergents, but lack the anti-corrosion additives that are critical to keep internal corrosion low in little-used classics.

Would this mostly apply to cast iron engines, and not magnesium and aluminum engines?

Interesting that they reference Brad Penn, which seems to be a popular choice for older Porsches. Didn't Porsche previously approve Mobil 1 0W/40 for use in all of their vehicles?
