Glen, that powdercoating looks great.
![]() Whatever method you use to put that darker grey in, before you put the chrome rings back on, step back and take a look at it without them... maybe in different light at different times of day. Most of the GM steelies look really good with just the silver, IMO. With... ![]() Without... ![]()

If you need to use tape - I've found it easier to use actual pin-striping tape available at your local FLAPS. It is a vinyl type material that is made to be flexible for round contours. Then use masking tape and paper adjacent/overlapping the pin stripe tape.

I think that'll look too plain if you don't put the darker color in and they'll be harder to paint later.
