We already have way too many folks on the planet due to lifespans going up and up and up.

It might be great if it was coupled with something that puts you down in your sleep when you hit a certain age. We don't need more people, we need less. Where's a good plague when you need one?

Man....if you could stop the aging process in the sense that your body would forever perform at the stage and standard that it is at the time that would be great!!! But not talking infinite life here..... no body needs to hang around here longer than 95 years or so!!!!

If the technology was available to everyone then it would be their choice to die. I have already gone through a of lot death in my family. Sure it's sad but life goes on. And if you choose to use the technology then life goes on and on and on and on......

to stop the aging process you will need to modify a LOT of genes
