1969 911T for sale

No affiliation. Thought it might be worthy of discussion:

1969 Porsche 911T original all number matching early vin 911S options

Lacking appropriate photos, IMO.

'69 E's & S's had MFI, not Webers, so Webers weren't an S option like he claims.

Looks like a decent car, the prices are all crazy so nothing out of the ordinary there. A '69 T is a pretty weak car, (2.0 carb'ed), but the condition looks nice. Nice color.

Not too many good cars on the open market anymore, I could kick myself over the early 911s I did not buy when they were cheap. But that's life...

911T's were carbureted until the 2.4 cars, (1972 model), so the carbs are right if Webers were OEM. The "S options" would be the gauges and other things like S brakes, I don't think this car has "Appearance group" which would be rocker trim and it does not have Fuchs rims. Most "S optioned" cars had those things.

A 911T came standard with a 4-speed back then, (this has optional 5-speed), and only 3 gauges!

EDIT: I take it back, on second look, it does have the appearance group/rocker trim.

In 2003 I paid $4500 for a 1970 911T. Freshly rebuilt 901, Webers, clean and complete interior, 5-gauge cluster, Fuchs, decent paint with rust in a few common and easy to fix areas. I used it as a daily driver for about a year, it was a great car. Sold it for $6500 and felt like I did well. That's probably a $20k car today. Crazy.....

In 1974 my best friend bought a real 1967 S for $600 with a rusted out front subframe.
He resold it for $1200 and thought he made a killing. He sold his very original 1976 930 in 1989 for $15000 and thought he did OK, since it needed a clutch.
