I'll spend a week or two out at my other house which is just North of Antler, ND and shoot bambi in the face a couple times.

So busy with our move that I haven't even thought about hunting. I will certainly be deer hunting in November up in Michigan. I'm new to Ohio, I've got to look into the local scene. Silly as it sounds, I would love to do some squirrel hunting.

I dont' do bow or muzzle loader, and general gun season doesn't start until early November down here...

A friend here at work owns some acres that back up to a new WMA, he's given me access permission, so I may be able to slip in there and have the public access side folk drive the deer towards me... But since my spare freezer just died I'll probably either skip hunting again this year or limit myself to small game.

I spent 5 days in the mountains chasing elk already with my bow, but we had TONS of rain here in Northern Colorado so that made it difficult. Was a little aearly due to the hot weather lately and they weren't calling much yet.

I'm still on the fence to whether I go back out with the bow or wait for Rifle season.

I do late seasson white tail in NE but thats not for a while yet.

So says the little man that kills animals to show respect to them. I hope Cliff, no one respects you so much. I certainly don't.

As a kid born/raised in No. Dakota, we used to do what we called "chipping"...where, instead of actually shooting/killing the squirrel, we would hit (chip) the tree bark right under their chin - knock them out of the tree and stun the hell out of them, but they'd live and scoot off.

3 big game animals down from my family already.

But I also do not want to post. Only a question of time before the first dickhead supermarket-meat-eating anti-hunter spoils the thread 5-4-3-2-1 ...

Not a hunter, but would if I was hungry. World would have a lot more vegetarians if they had to kill their meat. My buddy went bird hunting in Yuma the last two weeks, meager at best, the weather and storms chased most of the birds back to Mexico. Mt old boss is pushing 70 and still bow hunts in colorado, tough SOB at about 160 lbs.
