A problem I'm not ever likely to have, taking delivery of aMcLaren F1

Interesting to see this side of things.

What I'd really like to see is a really detailed video of the car with lots of the technical details about the design. It's the design and thought processes that went into building the car that I find extremely interesting. Unfortunately, for such an iconic car, there doesn't really seem to be that much info out there about it.

This is interesting

The guy that took delivery above, hooning around on what I think is a runway.

If you can find a copy of this book..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Driving-Ambition-Official-Inside-McLaren/dp/1852278412/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1379136388&sr=1-1&keywords=mclaren+f1

It covers the project in great detail...more than most are likely to need... and perhaps covers the down sides more openly than other official stories might....

What would you like to know?

I worked on this project from nearly the start of it to the last car to roll off the line.

Started as employee no. 8 at the composite manufacturing facility as a Junior Composite Design Engineer and have many happy memories from my 5yrs working for McLaren

At the time it was a lot of hard work so we were too busy to be aware of what an iconic car we are all creating. Its not until I've started looking back at what we achieved that its made me realise how lucky I was to have been involved.

His youtube channel has a lone video about Biotech, so he might work in that sector.

I have that book. Actually, a few years back, Dottore gave it to me. It is very good.

I still want more info. It seems like the more I read or hear about the car, the more I want to know.

Very cool. It's nice to have been a part of something special.

Oh, what do I want to know? Everything!

I would love to read absolutely anything that you care to offer whether it be technical tidbits or stories from the job or whatever.

Cool vid

I was thinking it, but I didn't want to say anything. I bet they are married.

I suspect she had other attributes that he finds attractive.
