You don't want 7, you want 6. I think iPad3 was the first retina display model, and if it is ATT then it is a GSM model. Given that, I believe you want 6.1.3 GSM 10B329

Did you backup your iPad prior to the update? If so you can restore that information. If not, then you can go back to the old OS but you'll have to put all the content/information back in by hand.

I keep a lot of music on my phone. So many songs that I often look up the artist first. "All songs" used to be the first option, then the albums. If you chose all songs, all songs from all albums would be listed alphabetically.

So you want to hear a "Eight Days A Week" but can't remember the album. SOL with IOS 7.

The nice thing about Apple products is that they just work.

Still love my MacBook Pro but equally happy to not be handcuffed to the Apple environment. Freedom of choice and all that. Mac, Linux, hell even WP8, lots to love there. :)

Hit "more" next to artists and you can choose to list by song or album. So that gives you list by artist, album, and song. No different than any other iOS...

You could get there via "Songs".

Apple Maps app directs drivers to runway at Alaska airport; 2 end up on tarmac | Fox News

Doh! Though it takes someone pretty dense to do that. Apparently airports in Alaska aren't much on fences, I couldn't do that at one of our small local airports.

Can you shoot slow motion with iPhone 5 or do you need the newer c or s.

I've looked in the podcast settings as well as the cellular settings but I can't find how to turn this popup/reminder off. Every time I open Apples podcast app this pops up which is really annoying. Anyone knows how to turn this pop up off?

Meh. I upgraded our ipad. I dislike how flat and linear it looks.

If there is something you don't like about iOS 7, send Apple some feedback. Perhaps if enough people complain about something like the calendar list view, they will fix it. It's easy, only takes a moment of your time.

so, how do you clear the updated apps field? I dont like the fact that it still shows apps that have been updated days ago. With the old iOS once they were updated they disappeared off the screen

widgeon13 09-28-2013 03:27 AM

My understanding is that you can't.
