What's this fungus among us?
This year I've had these weird, what I assume to be, fungus popping up in our gardens. Anyone have any idea what this is?
It grows to about 3-4" tall almost overnight. Orange and wrinkly.  I dug one up and they have 2-3 of these large 1-2" masses beneath the ground.

I think you're closer to the mark Tobra....
It is growing out of my woodchips as they suggest. My kids say "They're creepy, what are they...?" so I thought I'd find out.
