my yahoo!

Anyone else use this? It's been my homepage for over a decade but has now changed (seemingly for the sake of change) which has rendered it almost useless. Even better, once you "ok" the change it will not let you revert to the old version. Ugggh.

My issue is with the yahoo mail, I don't really use yahoo or any of the other associated messengers and such. G-Mail also did a sweeping change last week that I am not thrilled with.
I just don't like change I guess but a lot of these changes do seem pointless to me

It's the agile development model. Change is inevitable as they can't leave well enough alone.

Quit using it a couple changes ago. It used to be useful.

Yahoo mail now prompts me to enter some random characters each time I send an email, to prevent "spam". Unless they get enough complaints to stop that crap soon, I too will be looking for another email service.

That's funny. And true.

I still use it, mostly for news and the portfolio tracker. Been using it for 10 years, thankfully they havent forced me to upgrade yet.

Thanks for the heads up

Yahoo sucks and has been crap for many, many years now. Switch to Gmail.

it's not the mail part that has become unusable (it's never been great but that's the address hooked to a lot of my stuff)...it's the MyYahoo segment that really, really tanked with the "improvements".

I like the revamped Yahoo Mail, but the My Yahoo redesign truly sucks! It is way too inefficient with screen real-estate and I do not find it any easier to read or more attractive than the older design. In fact I can't think of a single benefit - seems to be change for change's sake. I need to find an alternative.

When it sinks below Hotmail ratings, I will dump it as well.
