Blackberry Z30
Anyone had any experience of this phone yet? Brand new in England . Its time for me to upgrade and I've been a Blackberry user for the last 3 phones so far.
All I do is make calls, answer emails promptly, surf the net a bit, photograph my finished jobs on site, and write quotations to email to customers(it would be nice to store my standard word templates on the phone for this to reduce the task to a simple word-processing task each time)

BB is laying off and hemorrhaging money and market share, I wouldn't spend my money on one of their products.

yeah, and if you use any Google products (like email), it sucks. There is ZERO google support.
I had a z10, sold it because every other phone had native Google mail support....There are no advantages to a blackberry anymore. rjp

Lack of apps and support is the problem. I just changed from a BB Bold to a Samsung S4 and while its great for browsing the web and has apps for everything, its just not that good at email like the BB was. I could check and reply to emails with one hand, and that was pretty much 90% of what the phone was for. Calls and texts were the other 10%. Oh, ok, i did listen to some music on it too.
The S4 doesn't do email well. I'm on my 3rd app now and still struggling. Its great the way it syncs with google calendars and picasa though. I was looking at a Z10, but couldn't bring myself to commit for 2 yrs. Good Luck

I never quite figured out why the hell my Z10 pocket dialed so much either. even screen locked it seem to do it often. Like, daily.
Never had problems with other phones.

This is my quandry : I dont like the lack of security of Android based phones either.
Emails is the most important part of my phone usage: I have 4 email addresses for 3 different busineses + one personal.Push email saves me so much time, and means I can answer enquiries almost by return. The only app I want is a Satnav, oh and free books to read whilst queuing at Post Ofices and banks. I did look at the Samsung Note3(it has Knox pre-installed for security) because of the ability to do dimensioned sketches on site for work, but its apparently quite a task to transfer them onto one's PC.Simpler to continue to use pen & paper and then scan in . The Nokia 1020 I hear mixed messages about the user friendliness of the operating system. Help!
