I miss the Navy everyday. Even more after watching the movie Captain Phillips since I was part of the pre-commissioning crew on board the USS Bainbridge, the ship that helped rescue him.

While I was in an USN-R east-coast squadron (VP-62/Jacksonville, VP-94/New Orleans—1980~1986) we got to deploy to Barbers Point, HI in '85, my last cruise. Of course, I love to remember the good times, but nostalgia is a vicious liar.
