Ooh, a cat!

12yr old girl threw herself off a 60ft cement plant tower after being relentlessly bullied by two other girls at school and online.

Sheriff is taking action and arrested the two girls AND is looking for a way to hold their parents partially responsible as well.

If you recall the 12 year old girl who committed suicide because she was being bullied by two other girls, then you will know what this is about. The sheriff arrested and went public with the names and pictures of the two girls who, literally, bullied the victim to death, and is holding their parents accountable as well.

One of the named girls, the one who started the bulling because her boyfriend used to "like" the victim, admitted in an on-line posting that she bullied the victim and "didn't give a damn" (IDGAD) that the victim killed herself. She's 14. The other girl used to be the victim's best friend but turned on her at the behest of the 14 year old. She's 12.

Oh. I am glad the sheriff nailed those girls and I hope he can also go after their parents.

Grady is a good man. The parents are idiots and should get tagged as well.

Teenage girls just baffle me. And this is coming from the parent of a teenage girl. Common sense just goes out the window with them. For one, I don't understand how you can be bullied online. Seems simple enough just to close out your face book, snap chat, etc., so you can see what they post.

so she closes the book..
next morning as walks down the hall..
she get's the looks, snickers ...
sooner or later she goes back to the book..
and the last time she decided..
enough, I'm out of here..

I understand the teenage girl mind almost as well as I understand the mind of Charles Manson. It is totally beyond my comprehension how or why that even could happen.

I grew up in the Leave it to Beaver world. Back when the world was black and white and the boys we logical.

One thing for sure is the parents need to be punished as much as the girls.

I caught some of Sheriff Grady's press conference and the one comment he made that should be continually emphasized.....

"Parents....do your job and PAY ATTENTION to what your kids are doing on their computer!"

VINMAN 10-17-2013 11:32 AM

Whats even more effed up, is the fact that the parents didnt give a crap and still allowed her access to the comp after shes got caught. That was my daughter, her comp, cell phone , etc etc... would have been destroyed.

Here are the perpetrators, not pretty. I wonder where they picked up bullying other girls from?

Grady Judd does good work but the guy never saw a microphone or video camera he didn't like. I live in the county next to his and I met him once.

Do you feel safer now that these 14/12 year olds are off the street? ;)

Yes......cause hoodies are next......

In all seriousness.....its about personal accountability.....which is severely lacking in this day and age......

john70t 10-17-2013 07:16 PM

Bullied at school: Educational discipline failure. It should have been handled with separation, to ramping up talks, to transfer.

Bullied at home: Parental failure as both sets were MIA from their children's lives. Sad, but common these days in two-earner families. Child was addicted to online forums:D.

But you can't legislate morality.
Sure, these little hussies were their own little worlds, but since when is lack of empathy a pursuable criminal offense?

Hydrocket 10-17-2013 09:25 PM

Gone are the good old days when you could settle BS in the schoolyard...

Only partially resposible? Why not fully responsible?
