2004 GMC 2500 HD What Shocks To Use?

Have a low mileage 2004 GMC 2500 HD extended cab long box truck that I am going to change out the shocks on.
What would you install on it if it was your truck?

Has the original shocks on it now and it really isn't doing much heavy work anymore.

eshocks.com. They usually have a good price on Bilsteins.

They beat me to it but you can't beat the Bilsteins they make for PU trucks. Awesome ride.

I have 5100 series on my F150, they transformed the truck. Highly recommended.

As an owner of three similar to your ride f350 or 250s I would say the Bilstein 5100 hands down. First thing I do after I drive them off the lot.

I ordered up the 5100s from Essex Distributors in Canada.
Prices were competitive, shipping costs less and no worries about the duties and taxes crossing the boarder.
Will let you know what I think after they are installed.
Now to go start soaking the nuts (on the truck) with some PB Blaster.

Installed today and did a drive.
Even though any new shock would have improved the ride the Bilstein 5100's make a huge difference on the way the truck rides and handles.
Thanks for your input/advice.

I installed mine on a one year old truck with 30k on it, they still made a huge difference.

All my rigs have Bils, 98 Passport. 05 Tacoma, 65 Mustang.
I put a new set on my 93 MR2 T a few years back........160K miles on it and the original shocks still had pretty good gas & no leaking oil. The 914 also had em'....but revalved.
