P-51 crash - Galveston Gal goes down
This happened a couple of days ago but didn't see that anyone posted on it:
British tourist killed in crash of vintage plane in Texas - CNN.com A couple of years ago my brother and I did the B-17 ride out of the Lone Star Flight museum in Galveston and it was really a great experience and worth every penny. I had been hinting around lately that a ride in the P-51 would make a great birthday/Christmas/anything present (as the Brit also thought) but perhaps not. It certainly isn't an option anymore. Really hate to see the old warbirds go down. RIP to the pilot and Brit....

He was at the Alliance (Fort Worth) air show last weekend. I herd they were in the aerobatic box and part of the plane separated. Another sad day in aviation.
