yahoo mail

for those who use Yahoo mail, is it driving you nuts? I am having a hard time looking for mail in my inbox. Stuff that were sent to me a few days ago have disappeared somewhere and I can't find it. Search mail only means I have to go back and read or go through everyone of them. Any tips before I tear out more hair?

I have no issue, but I don't get a lot of personal mail.

I have not seen messages disappear but ever since Yahoo started tinkering with their email a few years ago, it has sucked. It isn't the only software that has been in decline. There seems to be a lot of that going around.

No go. I have to dig through a bunch of old mail to try and find it. Drives me nuts. It seem that people are always trying to reinvent the wheel while the damn thing is rolling fine.

Over on the right is a "View" you can try 3 or 4 different options, One takes it back to sort of like it was......................
You can also look in trash for deleted mail.
Get used to the scroll button...it flips to a new email and you might think you are still where you were and delete a mail you did not intend to......
best o luck.

Ok. Got it done. Almost back to normal. Still, I have to search for emails that's gone missing. I think you're correct about the auto delete. Not in trash, I have been looking. I give up for now. Thanks for the tip. This just made my day. Changes like this in the software or computer related issues drives me nuts.

Try downloading Yahoo emails onto your HD and viewing them offline.
They will present as a blank page error.

Remember this is crucial legal content, and time-dependent.

Completely unviewable.
Completely un-printable: Using FireFox...IE...or Opera.
On all browsers.
On several computer systems.

I could not send to a client with a Yahoo! email yesterday. This was from my company email. After a few bouncebacks, I called them and they sent me an email. My reply bounced back. I then went on their website and pasted my message in their "contact us" template and that even bounced back. These guys are very interested in a deal and I cannot send them what I need to send them unless I do it from my personal email, which they might think is sketchy.

Hard to find/access mail. Recently I've started having addresses go missing in my address book. Yahoo mail sucks.

I'm a bit biased but I think less of people that use Juno < Hotmail < Yahoo < mac etc. Of course I use Gmail primarily - you may think less of me! Good searching and you can port most any email server into it - keep your yahoo address while you migrate etc. My wife had to set up a Yahoo business email to do some work and it was not pretty. Weird integration - she needed my help.
