Aftermarket foglights
I'll be doing some foggy bottom driving in the central valley this winter. Lot of crap out there, crappy lights AND the Tule fog.
Anyone have recommendations for a good bolt on fog light? Driving lights, I have...FOG lights, I need. Prefer a slimline type.

I lived in the central valley for many years and never actually needed fog lights. I can tell you in real Tule fog they won't do you any good. I had to stop one time and ask to stay over night at the house of some acquaintances of mine. I was driving in Tule (sp. ?) fog, and could only see two striped ahead of the car with my head stuck out the window. I could look through the top of the windshield and see stars though.

I saw these in person, and was shocked at how bright they were. I'm sure you can get different color bulbs. Actually, I've seen a couple of their other products too...crazy bright for how small they are.

Thanks.....but those...to me....appear to be DRLs and not specific fog lights which throw a different beam.

I have been shopping but don't have any real world experience...
But here are some idears I have... Halogen: Amazon.com: Optilux 1450 12-Volt/55-Watt Rectangular Clear Halogen Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive Amazon.com: Optilux H71010291 Model 1100 12V/55W Black Halogen Projector Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive HID: Amazon.com: iJDMTOY Universal Optical Projector Fog Light Lamps with 3000K Golden Yellow HID Conversion Kit: Automotive Those are small because I am looking at them for my tiny Miata, of course there are also big 6-7 inch round fog/driving lights out there too.
