Got it installed, works great and so damn quiet. Yes, definitely has an annoying beep when done that goes on for minutes it seems.

One thing I wasn't ready for is it says it's done but if you open the door right away, be ready for super hot steam to blast your face. "Dry" and "Done" doesn't mean cool yet.

OK--you win:)

I forgot about the Miller High Life buckle which was part of the deal. The brushes are already at the project home(and the Trooper was NOT included in the sale)

Enough turf from a nearby landscape project that the contractors had left in a free pile that I could sod this patch and another similar section. Exactly what I needed! My neighbor had just had her lawn done, and this bit on my property was looking scruffy. The universe provides!

It will still have some steam in it for a few hours after. All that insulation keeps things toasty.

I just purchased this early...1966 bronc U14 half cab...first year... from a seller on Charleston sc craigslist. I had been looking for a while and this turned out to be a good deal for me. not fond of the color combination but an original uncut bronco is difficult to find . the vehicle was purchased by the seller from Arizona and was in rust free?? condition!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1560168051.jpg

Nice!!

If that is the original paint and graphics I wouldn't touch it - I don't think it's that bad at all. Pretty cool, actually - from a retro POV anyway. Congrats on the acquisition - wow!

I bought these micrometers for $100 off of our local garage sale bulletin board. They are no-name imports. 0 - 12" with the standards and wrenches. They're fine for the accuracy that I need.

I hope to save the engine off it at a minimum.

It's a 'ran when parked' kind of deal.

I forget the colloquial name of this type of mower but it appears to be a special mower designed to mow golf greens.

It's a "reel" mower.

In the trade, a mower designed for mowing golf greens is called a 'greens mower'. Not very imaginative, but they are reel mowers as they are excellent at producing a very precise cut.

Guess what the mower for mowing the fairways is called.

Is it a reel mower or a real mower? Looks pretty reel to me.

Scott Douglas 06-26-2019 10:36 AM

It's a reel front throw mower, and, it fired up and works!

Do online auctions count? I have wanted one of these ice cream machines for years.
