Tube amp guys would be happy to scrounge the electronics from those old organs and consoles with vacuum tubes.

Picked up these JBL L100 speakers at the Goodwill yesterday for $40. They’re in kind of rough shape, but even hammered these things sell for $500-$1000.

Refoam them if you think they're worth it. Not hard to do.

Love all of the Kenwood stuff. Reminds me of the systems that were popular when I was a teen in the late 80s and early 90s.

Wow that Kenwood set up is super cool!!!
A neighbor was moving and put this surround sound system out to be picked up so I got it, it even had the remote. At the moment it is all just sitting in a closet because I have a Harmon Kardon soundbar and sub that I bought from my brother-in-law for 75 bucks. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

You know there's probably a reason why they tossed it to the curb, right?

![]() Was channeling my inner Baz and found these light weight shelves in the alley. A little extra horizontal space in the garage is never a bad thing. |

Kind of a harvest gold thing going on. Yep, that's the way I found them and it looks like the original factory finish.

Once maybe every 2 years I hit the mother lode. My day was yesterday.
![]() You can see some tooling and accessories on the 3" thick solid wood bench. What you don't see is over 200 pounds of more tooling and fixtures below and on the ground around the machine. The place was a mess and it took me 3 hours and a forklift to get it out and in my PU. I don't even know what all I have yet but I counted 5 chucks, 2 tailstocks and 2 complete multi tool posts as well as collets out the gazoo. All for $500. The South Bend 9" lathe will undergo a complete restoration and live in my shop replacing an inferior metal lathe that won't cut threads. I plan on doing a number on the bench and making a perfect steampunk dining table and asking a grand for it. That might work here in L.A. Some of these things are pretty cool but I'm not going that far.

Nice lathe. I see a turret there. I expect you to start manufacturing widgets out of brass soon!
