Because like all goalies, he marches to the beat of a different drummer. He also has an incredible knack for proving the nay-sayers wrong.
If only we could have the dream team of Thomas/Rask again.

No goalie can take that team to the playoffs. And certainly not in the East with the new format.

I think I'm with Finn on this one - a 39+ yr. old netminder who for all intents & purposes has been out of hockey for a year & change may not be able to regain his old form. Personally, I think he's quite a character & I hope he does well. Cheers JB

OK, first of all, it was a joke.
Next, they are winning their first game... Next,"too many pucks to the head": Me or Timmy? Lastly, I love watching Tim play. The only goalie more entertaining was Dom Hasak. His outspoken nature isn't all that bad either. You gotta respect the man. He's hung in there when others would give up and is willing to put it all on the line.

I don't know Joe, ya ever play goal eh?
Had a few bounce off my helmet over the years but I only played goal once, we lost 6-0, they had 4 shots, it was bad, its a tough position, I actually thought I had a chance, wrong again. Finn

Probability of a playoff spot is 2.9%. It's over, he might as well start campaigning.
