I keep the car in an unheated garage. The soft top seems to weather it pretty well. The interior heats up quickly and stays warm. I see no reason for a hardtop - just one more piece of stuff to clutter up the garage when not in use.

Those blizzaks have turned my daily driver (VW Golf commuter) into a snowplow!
We have had Michelin Alpins on my wife's mini suv and they have been pretty great long lasting tires too.

Aside from the ground clearance, it handles about as well as any other car I've driven in the snow. Just went out for dinner with the girlfriend and even at -10° F the heater was practically melting us out of the car.

Drove my '80 SC in the snow today. Just like every other day but a little wigglier.

Turbos LOVE cold weather. (We call it cold around here when it hits 50.)

The phone dials look great on the Boxster.

I'm not digging the Fuchs but the dials have a cool look about them!

You're talking about the car, right?!

A 911 with the right tires is practically unstoppable. Of course, down here winter driving is some of the best!

Actually, I was thinking about both. The 356 tires were steel studded tires. Awsome on snow and ice! Those were the days!

Hey 60, do you have a block heater of some type on there?

It starts just fine in an unheated garage at -35 c or -30 f. No block heater installed and not needed. Unlike my old 99 Miata which was on life support in winter. Needed block heater plugged in and battery needed to be trickle charged every few days. For those of you that have not owned an older Miata, the battery is located in the trunk - sits in the cold. The newer Miata NC had the battery located in the engine compartment and gets some heat from the engine. :)

I'll never be accused of pampering my car, although I do try to wash it quarterly
