Porsche not stored for the winter.....

Show me your pics of your DD that is not stored...

Well the Box had not been started for about 3 days. It was minus 20F this morning so decided to do some Xmas shopping......

All was fine until tire decided to go flat on the way home. Used the Camry to take the flat tire to the tire shop.....

The tire repair shop phoned up to say the tire has had it as there is too much damage to the sidewalls. This shop has four outlets and they are all sold out of this size(16 inch rim) for my Boxster. Well I will put the a/s tires back on for now and get on the phone and find where I can get a matching Blizzak.......

I believe that more folks are putting winter tires on. Plus we get a discount on insurance.

My Boxster is my winter beater. Also my summer beater. She only stays at home when it gets too deep.

I know the Boxster wheels will fit on a 85.5 and up 944. My old S is sporting a set of 17's from a 986

The phone dial rims and snow tires came off a 911 from the 911 owner(at Didsbury just north of Calgary). That is fairly normal here when somebody sells their car to sell the snow tire/rims separately and make a few extra $$$.
