Help me think of an Xmas gift for my celebrity friend . . .
I have a friend that is the lead singer in a fairly large (multi multi platinum album sales) rock band.
I'd like to get gifts for his two daughters, they are around 3 and 5 years old. I have no idea what girls that age would like! He and his wife are, natch, somewhat on the artsy side. So something fun for the kids, but kind of unique or interesting, would be best. And something I can get relatively quickly, as I'm of course running late. Whaddya think? |

One of my grandnieces can never have enough baby dolls (she's 3), and the other (6) can never get enough books (a gift card from a local bookstore where she can pick her own)....that's what I did, but I SUCK at picking stuff...had to ask mom for advice
 .

just bought xmas presents for my niece. she's 5. she wanted barbies and board games (I got her hungry hungry hippos and Barbie "fashionistas")

The hottest thing going for young girls (mine are 7&9) is the "rainbow loom" sold at Michaels. Basically using tiny colored rubberbands they weave bracelets, characters and other cool kid stuff. My girls and everyone in their school are addicted...

At 3 and 5 they have no idea who Daddy is and will like all the same stuff as other 3 and 5 year olds.

Every young girl wants to be a princess, you can get dress up kits, with the tutu, tiara, plastic jewelry, and makeup. I think you can even get them in a Barbie theme.

One of the absolute home-run gifts my wife got for our daughters at that age...
She went to a Good Will, found a foot locker and stuffed it full of the boldest, fluffiest, gawdiest, sparkliest, dress-up clothes she could find. Big shiny belts, flashy shoes in any size, velvet, hats, sequined jackets, 20s style boas. They got 10,000 hrs of pleasure from those things and every other girl in the neighborhood wanted to come over and play dress-up. Total cost was around $30 including the foot locker many years ago. If you dare to do this, take a woman with you to pick out the right stuff.

Go on Marinelife.org and adopt an endangered Sea Turtle for them. Adoptions run from $35.00 to $75.00 and is a not for profit organization! Awsome gift! I even did this for kids in college and they loved it!
