Anyone see this now car lift?
Anyone seen one of these yet? I would like to know more about it, but can't find anyone who knows about it here in the states. Anyone know someone.

Could you imagine clubbing a wheel that is stuck on the hub while up on that lift?
Looks like they added lightness to it....

You read about things like this in the paper once in awhile. Usually 2x4's and cement blocks are involved instead of cheap exercise equipment and electric drills, though

That looks a little....light....to be trustworthy to me. I'm sure the math all works out fine for the stress calcs, but I'll choose not to own one.

Wow that looks unsafe.
I have an EZCarLift, made in the USA, works great and super solid.

From the description:
"…..contains no hydraulics or electricians…" Thank goodness. Those electricians charge a fortune.

I'm considering a lift, but its got to be capable of lifting full-size pick-up trucks, with lots of extra capacity to be on the safe side.
This one sure looks convenient, but will not do what I need (want). |

------------- With anything like this it's best to be absolutely sure that it's 100% safe. Also... How kind is it to the cars chassis? All that weight in that one area across the car can't be good.

Good idea, but far too light weight for me!
And if you have to highlight the arrows in the movie ... why not make them black and visible on the item directly. |

Yea, compared to the thick steel and hydraulics on my scissor lift, that is a no go.

I have a Ranger, quick jack, while it works good, I had trouble with hydro fluid leakage at the lines, the Teflon tape had to be re-wrapped many times. There may be better and safer lifts out there, I haven't really found one....

^^^ In his defense, he's got a secondary/back-up post in place.
Plus, at least his welder is safe ... _

I'm sure the lift in the first post would work great for Unimogs!!
I especially like the half crushed round tube that just had a bolt jammed through and tightened until it crushed the tube.

I like how portable it is, and would be using it on 380SL and 300TD, plus other cars. I think it would be great to use it to jack up the car a few feet and then put four jack stands under the car. Way easier than moving back and forth from the front to the back with a floor jack. Still might be interested in it, if the price is under $500 for it.
