Rehabilitated Green Sea Turtle returning home!
Captain Hook's Return to the Ocean!
Updated 3 hours ago Today was a great day! Captain Hook was released off Juno Beach on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Captain Hook is a large juvenile green sea turtle that was found floating in the intracoastal waterway near PGA Blvd. A huge thank you to the LMC volunteers & staff, as well as everyone who came out to cheer Captain Hook on! We are extremely thankful for your support. We wish Captain Hook all the best! If you have photos from the release you'd like to share, feel free to post them on our Facebook wall, Twitter (loggerheadmc) or Instagram (loggerheadmarinelife).
