I remember he posted a picture of him back in the 70's in a trench coat standing next to a Vega(?). Cracked me up! He looked just like a cross between John Candy/ Sam Kinison.

Posts like this are a reminder of how fleeting life is. I did a search for threads started by rouxroux and found quite a few, recently even, remarking the passing of someone.

I lost my neighbor earlier this year to a heart attack. He'd been feeling poorly for months but was too stubborn to get a check up. Had he done so the likelihood is he'd still be here bending my ear while we rake our leaves.

It was a real wake up call to get right with my own doctor. I've since done my colonoscopy, blood work, and yearly physical.

If Rouxroux's passing can serve as a wake up call for anyone here to stop putting off getting your medical ducks in a row, well that's something positive.

RIP Rouxroux. Another Pelican I'll sadly never meet.
