Restored or not restored ?

Beautiful vehicle I would like this for Christmas. Over the years I keep hearing of vehicles that are found not restored and like new.. I have restored a few cars in my days however I have never seen a vehicle as clean as this one that has not been cleaned up or some type of restoration. Time always takes its toll even in a climate controlled environment . The window sticker seems to look right for its age but not consistent to the condition of the vehicle.I would like to see the trim and tires in a close up photo. So do you think this is not restored? 1967 Mercury Comet 202 Sedan R-Code 427/425 HP, Unrestored 2,000 Mile Car for sale by Mecum Auction

Maybe not "restored", depending on your definition, but I think it was at least "refurbished" to clean it up nicely. Having looked at several classic cars online, then later seeing them in person, no matter how good the photos are they always make the car look better than it is in person.

I'd want to see pictures of the underside of the car. I'd also want to know more of the history of the car (how, where it's been stored).

Parts of it have been restored, but I don't know if that qualifies as the entire car being restored. Grey area.

I think that is such a cool car! I would almost say let it be for awhile until she spoke to you. Like a good women, a car will et you know when she needs a 'lift'

An aquantance of mine bought a 1978 Indy pace car Corvette. He worked at the dealership and when it arrived he did not let the dealership touch it. He had it transported and parked it in his dad's warehouse that is heated and air conditioned. He put it on jack stands and had a box biult around it. I have always wondered how well it survived. It will be a 0 miles new car.
