Wiper blades
What are the best wiper blades for your Pcar (that you don't drive in the rain)?

I do drive mine in the rain and the stock Bosch blades do fine.

Hi
|
I drive in the rain and I use the Bosch blades.
I have found that the key to wiper blades working properly is keeping your wind shield clean. After using something like Windex I will wipe the glass with a waxy rag so the glass is as smooth as possible.

I just put RainX blades on my truck made a huge difference. Not sure of fitments for Porsche but they are working great on my truck. I believe the best blades I've ever had.

Treat the windshield with RainX and Bosch blades.

I think this is the road to follow. I've never had to replace blades on the Pcar before.
So many cars seem to come with unique blades and finding good replacements is not easy. The attachment systems are very weak and I have found for my Honda Pilot and Chev 1500 that replacements from auto parts stores are just poor and don't last very long. |

Always been happy with Anco. The RainX blades are great also.

I've never used them on a P-Car, but I love the Bosch Icons on my other cars.
If you never drive in the rain, I wouldn't think you'd need wipers, and the "best" option might just be to remove the arms entirely.

Bosch blades. Clean the wiper blade itself when you clean the windshield. Dust and debris collects on the blade and this gets rubbed into the glass when you turn them on.

I've tried several different brands on my BMW and they just seem to smear the rain after a few months. And this is a car that's garaged. It does have the original windshield and 170k miles so I'm wondering if the pitting wears out the wiper more quickly?

I'm currently using PIAA slicone blades and they are holding up better than the last set of Bosch blades. Even so, they are starting to take a set and streak where the frame contacts the blade. I really wish I could find a 13" frameless beam type blade that would work on the 911.
I drive in the rain quite a bit and when it's not raining there's the bugs and dirt to contend with. I agree with previous poster that any blade with work better on a clean windshield. Best way to clean your windshield is your favorite glass cleaner and good old newspaper for your "rag". I'm sticking with Invisible Glass brand cleaner. The newsprint is mildly abrasive and will get ride of hard water spots and bugs without scratching the glass while not streaking the way microfiber cloth can. -J

Wiper blades go to hell when they begin to dry out.

It rains a lot in Portland. Rain X does NOT help.
I use top of the line Bosch blades and clean them every once in a while.
