velveeta shortage?

it seems to me that the best way to move a product is to tell people that it is in short supply. am i just a cynical guy?
does anyone here use it? i am 63 years old and have to the best of my recollection never eaten any of that stuff.

Hard to believe you've made it this far without eating any Ro*Tel cheese dip. Only use for Velveeta that I have. None in stock in the house, at the moment.

I think the broccoli and brussels sprouts marketers are looking very closely at the results of this form of shortage marketing.

I understand there is also a coming shortage of horsewhips... Better stock up on them also before the super bowl.

Don't think I have ever consumed this product. Don't think I will anytime soon.

I thought the same thing when I heard the report. It's OK with me, but the most use I have ever gotten out of it in my lifetime was using it as fish bait as a kid. Caught my first fish with it.

Camel S**t.

Get a package of sausage, mild Italian works.

Squeeze sausage out of casing and brown in a frying pan, you want it crumbly.

Warm up your Velveeta so it's gooey, mushy.

Combine sausage and Velveeta in a bowl, thoroughly mix with your hands.

Get some some small cocktail / hors d'oeuvres bread like melba or bruschetta.

Spoon sausage/velvetta mix onto the bread.

Arrange on a cookie / baking sheet and pop in the oven around 350-400 until the top of the mixture starts to brown.

Yummy.

Pork sausage, hot rotel, velveeta and corn tortilla chips. Sounds so good I almost want to start wiping my ass right now.

I've never had Camel S**t but Stomachmonkey's recipe sounds down right appetizing.

No, the shortage is real, and is due to short supply of a needed component for Velveeta, Chinese drywall.

I thought it was a shortage of plastic that was causing the problem...

Don't think I have ever purchased the product directly... however if you have ever had nachos at ball game have you not eaten it?

Also have fond memories of using it as fish bait as a child.

Don't care for velveeta, but lest you think I'm an arrogant elitist, I do enjoy a slice or two of spam...

I have never eaten Velveeta, nor do I ever expect to. Real cheese is easy to work with, and doesn't have all the industrial poisons added.
