I also watched the Wonder Woman movie last night. First 10 minutes was boring but it picked up the pace and got better. Fun typical super hero movie.

Cool! I think there were three original Wallace and Gromits- consider getting A Grand Day Out and A Close Shave. Nick Park is one of my favorite artists. You can see his work in the old Chevron talking car commercials, which had the same style.

A taste. (One of my dogs was a Gromit namesake).

I always thought The Man Who Fell to Earth was excellent science fiction, actually a "realistic" concept with some cool ideas. Over 40 years old now, not high budget, but David Bowie's first movie role.

Saw "Three Billboards" last night. Frances McDormand and Woody Harrelson oughta get Academy awards for their work in that one...fantastic film, with one exception: The last scene of felt like there might have been a committee decision, rather than the director or the writer. (I'm probably wrong, what do I know?

We saw Darkest Hour Saturday afternoon. Incredibly well done, and everything you've heard about Oldman's performance is true... a stunning portrayal.
Best film I've seen in a long time. 10/10 Will buy the DVD.

Huge Oldman fan here. I thought he was awesome in Hannibal as Mason Verger and Bram Stoker's Dracula as Dracula. I read Churchill's family was very pleased with his portrayal in Darkest Hour. I liked that movie a lot as well.
