It's long, be prepared to be confused until around two hours in, when it starts making sense. Have some beers and snacks and understand it's a story, not a fast action movie.

Scenery of course is spectacular, and probably pretty realistic pioneer life depictions.

People wanting instant gratification will quickly get bored as the intent is a long four-part epic on the settlement of the west. Both sides portrayed fairly. Native American indigenous people and the "white eyes."

I'm probably biased since it was a long filming process here. Of course, if you've never seen Moab, the scenery alone is worth it.

I streamed it on Max and agree with what you said. The landscapes alone are worth it. Some excellent western scenes and some a lot less so.

Was the ending a collage of unannounced previews of future chapters, or did I miss an announcement?

Varies depending on use. The schedule for heavy duty/off road use has intervals twice as frequent.

"First Man". The story of the Moon landing but focused on Neil Armstrong. He was as I've always heard a hard core steely eyed pilot but if the movie is completely accurate his home life sucked.
