Then how should I spell phlorida?
Fhiladelphia
phunky
fhoenix az
catalog
pharmer
Spelling is for those that have to fly a desk and correct papers .
Just let me do my job, make the prints. Build the stuff
Move the world
It has little to do with IQ or education.........
if one does not know much......he has to make up ways to look as he might, and spelling might help

gordner 01-22-2014 10:49 AM

I make the stuff too my friend. Spelling is not a measure of intelligence by any means, more a measure of your attention to detail.

Spelling is for any one that wants to clearly communicate, sadly not a popular thing in todays world.

I question if afterburner actually makes the stuff... He had had numerous threads about a crackpot idea on a helicopter that all the engineers say won't work...

Say, why don't you get this kid to model up your helicopter idea?

afterburn 549 01-22-2014 11:23 AM

I have my helicopter well under control .
i got rid of a 100 pounds of crap as in pulleys, belts and chains
now in a little while (as soon as the machinist can read my bad spelling) I will have a part here that the mast just drops into.
engine and small clutch and drive shaft directly to it.
Now no belts to T/R either
is a simple system.
i never ever claimed to spell......Thats your guys ideas that define intelligence....
So happy you brought it up as a last resort to throw dirt in someones face. ( mine)
Where is your helicopter ? smart arse
thanx

gordner 01-22-2014 01:33 PM

I had no intention of saying you are not smart, was just offering friendly advice since you repeatedly spelled it that way.

Those last 3 model pictures make the airplane look like it was put together in the dark. The detail on those trucks are incredible!
