68 during winter, 74 during summer. I run the fireplace (it has a blower that puts out heat) when it gets cold enough outside to make the HVAC run a lot.

we are retired so we are home most of the day. Winter 68 daytime 61 at night. Don't use heat in the summer and only use the AC when it's stinking hot.

70 degrees when we're home, 64 degrees when we're not and at night... We have 2 furnaces, one for each floor and we only turn the heat up on the floor where we're spending time.

Mine never moves from 71 or 72. Heat only, radiators. A/C one the summer comes from window units.

70 occupied with a 67 degree setback at night.
76 summer.

There is a point of diminishing returns with setback temperatures.
When the system is required to bring the mass of the building up to temperature during the morning warm up it can be more effective to keep the setback temperature a little higher.

Kind of interesting (maybe...). The only time the furnace kicks on the second stage of heating is when the temperature is below -4 deg F during the morning warm up. I can tell if I really want to get up this way.

Any time the thermostat gets below 72 I start to freeze. Summer or winter.

With the wood stove going and some nice locust burning, It can get to 76/78 real easy. Now that is comfortable, at least for me.
