Thanks guys, Yeah, the kickstand came down while I was riding it. A little smoke in the last pic cause it was the first run up and down the road. Doesn't smoke when warmed up. I should ride it more. When he came over, it had literally been sitting for several years, and yeah, it did start up the second I dumped the compression release. I mean the second, like it ran yesterday.

That article is well-written and you've got a really cool bike, made even more cool by the sentimental factor! Noice!

What a great story! BC to Cambridge with your mother on the parcel rack, that truly is priceless.
![]() I don't think the Larz Anderson would have sold such a significant bike, but I'll bet you're glad to have it close at hand.

What do you get 350 sunny days a year. Beauty bike, how often do you enter it in vintage shows?

Wayne (Tobra) a few years ago a friend convinced me to drag it up to the All British Bike Meet in San Jose. There were literally hundreds of very cool British bikes there most of them beautifully restored. Mine took two trophys, best road bike and oldest bike. I was blown away. I had hardly even dusted it off, let alone clean it. With the cooler weather and the sale last year of the DB4, I should put some elbow grease into it. Althought it really doesn't need a whole lot. Thanks for the kind words guys.

When the article was first printed, a bloke from the UK contacted me and offered me 10,000 pounds, that is something like $16,000. I've been told to a real enthusiast, it might be worth double that. Don't really know. When it gets cooler, I really need to do some minor top-end work and replace some of the cables, the Club carries reproduction cloth-wrapped cables. No big changes or "restoration" work, just some tightening up of a few cables that are totally stretched out.

Here are some of the green screen pics that I took for Shaun, and the T-Shirt that he made for me. If you missed it in the article, the bike is completely original and unrestored.
