Actually, none of the ones in the first post are very good. Most of the good band names were taken a long time ago.

I have some great ones but I'm not going to share. I'll sell them, though.

Fun fact: Nirvana had to buy their name from some cheese dick local band in Kansas, (or someplace). Trademark that schit.

Two bands in high school, Dave Patio and The Lawn Chairs, and The Finger Puppets.....I am pretty sure it was our raw lack of talent and ambition more than our name choices that lead me into the field of heavy duty construction sales!!!!

Had a band in Denver while consulting an energy company there, we were tech geeks so our band was Boolean Logic. Very heavy metal sounding. Now that I've aged I formed the Boolean Blues Band.

Minneapolis had some great band names; The Replacements was one of the best names (and bands), ever. Also Husker Du, Rifle Sport, (named after a downtown arcade from the '70s), Run Westy Run, Loud Fast Rules, (later changed to the ultra-lame "Soul Asylum").

Then there was Dumpster Juice, Trailer Trash and my all-time favorite name, REO Speed Dealer.
