My Dad made a decision to stop that cycle...NEVER a negative word to me, "I love and appreciate you and you can do anything" was what I was told. He spanked me once and I deserved it, that event was so impactful on my life I still remember where I was when it happened I could take you there right now.

Swap Navy for Marines and that could have been written for my dad, who passed 2 years ago this month. He joined and went to fight WW2 in part to get away from his dad.

Good thoughts and God speed.

Thanks for all the kinds words. The services went great my sister and I spoke together which was very therapeutic. She and I only had a couple spats over the planning, emotions were high but we are all good now.
A shot of me taking my Dad on a ride through Zion National Park, he said it was his favorite trip through the park ever, a great memory for me. Thanks again for the words.

Very moving photos, Greg...especially the first ones.
A stud with a heart...your father. Rare.
Very blessed and heartfelt thoughts to you!

Greg, that's a terrific picture of you two on the scooter.
I take it you're just a little bit bigger than the average bear?

Great pic, Greg!

Wouldn't mind seeing more photos of that trip if you ever want to post any. With your Dad in some...or all of them would be OK in my book....
