You guys stir crazy yet?

Baz, Speeder, Rick, and the rest of you guys in warmer climates need not reply.
The 3 months of a northeast winter sure do seem like an eternity here every year. I'd kill to mow the grass, wash a car, or dig a hole or something right about now
Thankfully , I have the shop , at least I can work 7 days a week to pass the time during the days, but every evening, seems like I come home freezing cold, eat, take an hour to de thaw, sit on the couch in front of the tube for an hour, check pelican and off to bed. Dark in the morning when I leave, and dark when I get home at night. Too cold to spend any more than the minimum amount of time outside.
I think I am starting to come unraveled. I may work on making a spare bedroom, into a home office , just to burn off an hour or two every night.
Hang in there boys.

I don't see how you guys do it up there.

We've had some 30-40 degree weather down here lately - but I know we will warm back up at some point.

I guess when I run the ac in my truck this time of year...I really can't complain, huh?

Hang in there Fred!

This is what I would do if I were you Fred. In the Christmas package I sent you Fred is an old compass. Line up the blue line with north. Disregard north and start travelling approximately southwest either in a car or aeroplane. Keep on going until you get to Arizona or California.

We do this about twice a winter for a week each time. It breaks up winter very nicely.
Cheers, Guy.
PS Hope this helps.

woosies LOL

Take up something like snowmobiling... get your speed fix and no limits. (oh expect for those putzs in MN where they limit.. hate that commie run state.) Used sleds are still quite cheap entertainment.

Ski or snow board? More excuses like no mountains near you? Try some workout and x-country. Zero temps and you'll burning up in no time. Nice trek today and spotted a lone coyote. Howooo!

Shushhh

The weather is trying to get decent around here. Clear & sunny with a high of nearly 50 for the last 2 days. Beats the s*** out of the grays. Around freezing at night & the gorge winds are howling. I'm far enough North to be out of that. I've actually done some yard work....

The snowpack is sucking hind rind.

Had to get more wood out of the shed.

I feel sorry for everyone in the eastern two thirds of the country, especially on days when I regret wearing long pants instead of shorts.

I'm really hating this crap. More snow and too frickin' cold.

Our best friends moved to Punta Gorda, Fla. last month, and this is what they sent us today. The view out of their kitchen window...

We now hate them.

I got a 4 day reprieve in Florida last week. Seems like a long time ago. Yeah, I'm done.

They are having a cold hard winter back in OK this year, but luckily I moved around New Years and got out before it got bad! I'm loving the Arizona winter so far!

Fred you can come hang out by the pool for a week and help me get the bug in order!

I'm with Marv, I wore long pants to the computer store this morning. When I got out I was wishing I'd worn my shorts
My daughter lives in San Diego and sent me this picture from her hike today.

I went for a bike ride around the neighborhood today and thought about all you guys that can't get out because of the weather. I feel for you.
I don't think I could take it.

I think we dipped in to the 40s once. in the last two weeks.
It sucked, I almost put the bike in the garage for the season.

I took the 888 out for a spin today. Had to wear my perforated leathers, it was so warm. We're hurting for rain here in So Cal, but I might as well enjoy the weather while we've got it.
