This is news to me....We lost my Mom 7 months ago due to a long illness. My mom and dad moved to an assisted living facility 1.5 years ago only for my mothers care. Dad wanted to stay at the house and he knew he could not provide the care she needed. Dad drives, shops and does everything on his own. He is a very popular guy at his facility with the women. One lady 68 years old has been real close to my dad for the last 6 months, They came to our house for all of the recent holidays and they are always together.
Saw them a few days ago and his girlfriend told my wife she sometime spends the night. When my wife said we were cool with that, the whole story came out. They shower together and have regular sex. They go to a specialty grocery store every week and buy a food product that neither one has ever had just to try it.
Of my 2 brothers I am the only one to know. His girlfriend said everyone at the facility knows their relationship and wanted to have a girl talk with my wife and let us know. Dad said he will never get married again.... Money and estate issues. Is my dad cool or what. Regular sex at 86.

But seriously, if you do live long and healthy as a guy, you have the pick of the litter every day in the assisted living facility. Ratio is probably 10:1. It has been a tabu but old people are actually reasonably active sexually if health does allow it. And why not. Old women are probably attractive to us guys, once we are there too.

Also, nobody noticed that she is 18 years younger than him. That probably helps. I know it would for us mid-aged guys ... n-18.

How the heck would I know what goes on when a person is in their 90's? I am a comparative young un in my 60's. I had to google it to find out that was possible..

My FIL is turning 98 this month in an old folks home. When he first went in there about 2 years ago an older woman approached him when he was lying in bed. He shouted at her to get out.....

An older guy of 77 I rented a room from many years ago told me he could not function sexually anymore. So it all depends on the individual...

So, a thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research.

This means that by 2040, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.
