Las Vegas nookie run

My old GF from my Hermosa Beach days is newly single, still looks pretty good. She's flying in and I'm driving the cabriolet up.

Gonna be there from the 21st over the weekend. Anything going on there? Looking at the Luxor. Anything bad about it? Been 20 years since I've been there.

I was not impressed with the Luxor much. Seems like other hotels have more in less space. But I usually shop room rates so what do I know.

I'm going the same weekend. Found a killer rate at Aria. Brand new centrally located. I think I'm at somewhere around $129 a night plus a $50/day resort credit.

We'll be the judge of that.

Pics forthcoming...I would assume.

Just looked back it was actually $150 plus a $50/night resort credit.

ARIAVIP3 was the code I used about three weeks back... may not still be available but worth trying.

You may want to re-think the Luxor--it is a bit of a dump. Much better options available.

It sounds like Joe Bob could teach the negotiator a few things. He has the ex GF meeting him at a hotel in Vegas after a lengthy no contact period. Enjoy, and wrap that rascal.

At the Luxor don't bump your forehead on the glass window in your room.

+1 on skip the Luxor... but I'm also a cheap *ick and lo-ball on the room.

Might I suggest one block off the strip you get a much nicer room for the same price.

We got the concert/room package at the Palms (around $350), very swanky, new high-rise, flat screen, marble/granite bathroom, Bose clock radio, spectacular view of the strip.

I will also add Palace Station has nice rooms at the price of the resort fee of the high end joints... for that matter check out all the "Station" properties...

Then there is Fremont street... if you want to park the car fro a couple days and stumble around the chaos it is hard to beat.

Make sure all the lights in the rear work just fine, don't speed in town and make sure to be curious in traffic. When I have Cops in the TV in the garage, every time they pull someone over in 'Vegas or any other place it is for one of those reasons. Don't want to see you on TV next year.

Hopefully the ceiling mirror isn't inscribed, "Things appear larger than they actually are."
