I watched a video about one on youtube. They said it has a top speed of 65 kph, or about 40 mph. I'd drop a 911 engine in it. Then again, the engine is in front, right under the bench seat. Could get a little loud. And the gas tank is right behind the front end sheet metal, extending up to the windshield. Don't crash!

for that kind of money i would want something a bit more exotic than oak.
add a raby type IV or a polo, and then you've really got something.

The noise was already mentioned. But what if anything on the suspension, like a leaf spring goes? That's going to hurt!



Completely ridiculous to have a truck with a low torque VW mill ...

Sometimes things are rare for a reason. Nobody bought that thing, I am sure!
